Black powder firearm. Percussion revolver Colt Army 1860. Version with a steel trigger guard, steel grip frame, and milled cuts allowing the attachment of a shoulder stock. It was the most widely used revolver in the Union Army during the American Civil War. Between 1860 and 1873, 200,500 units of these revolvers were manufactured.
